VAT as I understand it is charged on services or supplies of goods, for services such as a vendor supplying beverages(provisions) to our company on a monthly basis to all staff, and as it is a contract of supply. Is the supply of the provision liable to VAT?

@Oluwadamilola - If there is any company not applying the investment allowance it must be out of ignorance. Otherwise it is commonly applied by companies in Nigeria.
